While sitting here, wrapped in a blanket, sipping a combination of chicken soup, hot cocoa and hot toddies(plus a frozen mint julip) I have been going thru some old photos that were in a box of my Father-in-law. This is my Dear hubby Dennis. It was taken at the lake cottage when he was about 5 years old. This was a place that his Uncle and Dad had built in 1939, as my hubby was growing up, this is where he spent every free minute he could!! It stayed in the family and when we moved up north it is where we lived. Did alot of remodeling and loved it there. Times changed tho and the lake became so built up and busy that we said goodby, packed up alot memories and moved on. We all have that one place that will be forever special in our hearts, the cottage on the lake, will always be that place for Dennis.
