I have only been able to be on the computer for bits at a time, but today I decided to try for a bit longer LOL I reread my last post and have an update... Did not have a burn from the ice pad, nope, instead I developed something called Cellulitis (Cellulitis is an infection of the skin and underlying tissues that can affect any area of the body. It begins in an area of broken skin, like a cut or scratch.) I only had two small cuts from my fall and they healed right up, but I guess the bruising and trauma to my shin was worse than we thought. My shin looked like someone had wrapped plastic wrap around it, bright red, and shiny smooth as glass!! When my sister Bonnie saw it she knew right away what it was and so did the doctor(finally) I have been on Augmentum, an antibiotic, and it is just now starting to look a wee bit better. I guess if it would have gone untreated it could have turned into something worse, someone said blood poisoning Sure did not want that. With the medicine comes side affects so I have to watch for those.....oh this has not been a fun time. I am not a lay down and rest person so being on the couch with my leg elevated for most of the day is not something I am enjoying!Good thing tho, Hubby has been doing alot of shaking his head and saying how sorry he was for not finishing the railing (which he has put up a sort of temp one for now) he has also done alot of the housework ..... so I guess some good has come out of this LOL
So much has happened in the past month or so, Carin graduated from school ( oh so proud), Sam the Man had his 5th birthday , I had my 63rd, and my son Scott just had his 40th on the 22nd. Busy time, missed the graduation, but did make it to the others, even tho had to find a couch to sit on for awhile LOL.
I best get off here again, time to take a pill and rest....oh I am beginning to not like that word!!
Hope you have all made some memories!!!
As always my Dear Ladies " Fill it to the Brim" then don't just sit back.....live and enjoy every bit of it!!!!!
Hugs and love to you all....Always
