I love Saturdays in Autumn....

There was definitely frost on the pumpkins this morning!!! But still a wonderful morning! Ya know, holidays well Christmas is my favorite...but Seasons...FALL wins hands down! It is something about that crisp cool air that just makes things more alive, I know contradiction right?! Spring is when things come alive, but fall just has a feeling of clearer and sharper. Everything, the trees, their leafs, even the last flowers of the year seem more vibrant and alive.

Our house is quiet this morning, no flippin red things to chop or dice, no zucchini calling my name, even the apples are quiet....ya know why.......Dear hubby left this morning at the unreal hour of 3:30 am to go meet a friend about an hour from here to do some duck hunting. (by the way I do not do duck, don't cook it, don't pluck it, don't eat it) But he will have fun, spend some time with a good friend and most likely come home duckless! LOL not that he's a bad shot but he is a perfectionist, the right shot will never come along!! So it's just me and the puppies, who for some reason when Dear hubby is home lay curled up on their beds contently sleeping, but the minute he's gone, these girls start barking at everything. So I am constantly going to the window to see if someone is here, or some wild animal is attacking the house....nope...it's usually leaves falling or the breeze is making a branch move. Oh such protectors I have!!!

Oh by the way, might not be rambling next Sat, woohoo, we are going to visit Carin and the Grandkids!!!!! Oh this is one happy Grandma! We leave on the 8th and will be back the 13th or 14th. You all can not believe how many hugs I have been saving to give those little bubs!!!! Dear hubby and I will drive as far as my sister Bonnie's and then she will drive the rest of the way.

Have to let some of you know that are thinking while I'm gone there will be no roving reporter on duty.....Think again......!!!!! Ve have Vays!!!!!

Well, it is 10:18 and I am still in my pj's!! Guess I should start my day. Gee, when there is no harvest to take care of, what ever will I do!!?? I supose I could clean, or do laundry...what are the odds??!!
Whatever I decide to do, I will be making some memories, you all do the same, tuck them away to be smiled at another day.
Fill it to the Brim ladies, it's the only way to go!!!! hugs to you all!
